1Open Live videoUse the assigned broadcaster account and the protected control workspace for the correct match.
Assigned broadcaster connection
From broadcaster assignments select the match and open broadcast controls. Wait for the protected connection to finish checking. Only the assigned producer with a valid connection can save the video link.
Scheduled and live matches
Find Live video while the match is scheduled or live. Video link editing closes for completed or otherwise ineligible matches and for archived tournaments. If the controls are disabled, review the match state and connection rather than using another account.
After this step
You understand open live video and when to use the available controls.
2Choose the video or live-stream linkPaste the specific YouTube video that viewers should open from the scorecard.
Accepted video links
Use a complete HTTPS link to a specific YouTube video. Standard watch links, shortened video links, live links, Shorts and supported embed links are accepted when they identify one video.
Invalid or unsuitable links
Do not paste a channel, playlist, studio page, stream key or protected browser-source URL. Links with missing video IDs, embedded login details, unsupported hosts or malformed syntax cannot be saved. Ensure the intended audience can watch the video on YouTube.
Video link
Paste into Video link and remove accidental spaces or incomplete text. The field accepts up to 2048 characters. Correct validation feedback before saving. This field provides a viewer link and does not upload footage or start a YouTube stream.
After this step
You understand choose the video or live-stream link and when to use the available controls.
3Save or replace the viewer linkUse Save video link and wait for confirmed success before checking the scorecard.
Save video link
When the value changes, choose Save video link. The field and action stay disabled during saving. Wait for successful feedback, then open the saved video action and confirm that it is the intended match.
Replace a saved link
Replace the existing field value and save again. The scorecard watch action uses the saved link after success. An unchanged field has nothing to save.
Watch from the scorecard
Open the match scorecard and choose Play match video to start the inline player. Use Watch on YouTube if inline playback is unavailable. Turn the video Off to stop playback and On to restore the Play action. If the action points to the wrong match, return to Live video and replace the saved link.
After this step
You understand save or replace the viewer link and when to use the available controls.
4Remove the viewer linkClear the saved value and confirm removal when the scorecard should stop linking to that video.
Remove video link
Clear Video link and choose Remove video link. Confirm the application dialog to remove the scorecard link. This preserves the video itself, scores and match data.
Cancel removal
Cancel the confirmation to keep the saved link. Review the field before trying again because an empty draft and a removed saved link are different states.
After this step
You understand remove the viewer link and when to use the available controls.
5Recover a failed video-link changeUse the saved state and feedback to decide whether to correct the draft, refresh, or reopen the match.
Correct the draft
An invalid link produces validation feedback and stays available to edit. Correct it before retrying. A failed save does not prove the saved viewer link changed.
Changed in another window
If the link changed in another window, refresh and review the latest saved link before deciding whether to replace it. Do not repeatedly submit an outdated draft.
State or access changed
If the match becomes ineligible or the broadcaster connection is lost during saving, reopen the match from broadcaster assignments. Resolve the access state before trying again. Completed or archived states keep link editing closed.
After this step
You understand recover a failed video-link change and when to use the available controls.

Expected result

You can follow the written guide to choose the correct controls and recover from the documented states.
