Configure broadcast presentation

Set tournament defaults or a match override, preview branding and timing, calibrate output, and manage the protected browser source.

1Choose the presentation scopeOpen the assigned match and decide whether its presentation should follow tournament defaults or a match override.
Tournament defaults
From a tournament's broadcaster details, open its broadcast defaults and edit the shared presentation. Save tournament defaults applies to current and future matches that inherit those defaults. Existing match overrides keep their own settings.
Settings source
Open a match through Open tournament matches to use the tournament context and its Settings source controls. Tournament defaults shows the inherited settings as read-only. Match override makes the match settings editable. The direct Matches entry uses match controls without the tournament-context switch.
Edit tournament defaults
Use Edit tournament defaults when the shared settings should change for all inheriting matches. Check whether the displayed defaults are saved or system defaults before making a change.
Save other changes
For an existing overlay, Save other changes publishes the edited presentation and settings source. Review successful feedback before leaving. If the source has not been created yet, Enable overlay saves the chosen presentation while issuing its source URL.

2Set brandingOpen Branding, select the theme, then customize colours and the optional sponsor line.
Theme
Choose a preset and inspect the preview. Changing the theme resets custom primary and accent colours to the new preset. An unfamiliar saved theme can appear as Saved theme.
SF royal violet — Use the violet and gold preset.
Midnight — Use the dark blue preset.
Broadcast red — Use the red and gold preset.
Ocean cyan — Use the cyan and blue preset.
Royal purple — Use the purple and yellow preset.
Graphite gold — Use the graphite and gold preset.
Electric lime — Use the green and lime preset.
Sunset orange — Use the orange and yellow preset.
Platinum — Use the slate and silver preset.
Primary colour
Use the colour picker or enter a hash followed by six hexadecimal digits. Use theme beside this field restores the preset primary colour.
Accent colour
Use the colour picker or a valid six-digit hex colour. Use theme beside this field restores the preset accent colour independently.
Sponsor line
Enter the optional sponsor wording, up to 160 characters, or clear it. Check the Sponsor sample and the live preview before saving the wording.

3Choose automatic graphicsChoose which scoring events can trigger graphics, keeping at least one enabled.
Cricket automatic graphics
Enable the events you want on air. Four, Six, Wicket, Over complete, Innings break, Final result, Matchup, Toss, New batter, New bowler, Over summary, Innings summary and Milestone are available for cricket. The cricket operations guide explains each graphic.
Football automatic graphics
For football choose Goal, Yellow card, Red card, Substitution, Period break and Final result. These use confirmed match events rather than sample scores.
Select all
Select all restores every automatic option supported by the match sport. The last enabled option cannot be cleared. A forced Base graphic remains selected until you choose Automatic from live scoring or another graphic.

4Set effect timing and delayOpen Timing and calibration and align the graphics with the video feed.
Effect duration
Use Default timing for 2.7 seconds or choose Custom duration and enter 1 to 30 seconds in tenths of a second. This controls how long automatic event effects remain visible.
Default timing — Use the standard 2.7-second effect.
Custom duration — Enter a duration from 1 to 30 seconds.
Graphics delay
Choose No delay, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 8 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds or 30 seconds to align graphics with the delayed video. Review against the actual feed before saving.
No delay — Show confirmed graphics without an added delay.
2 seconds — Apply a two-second delay.
5 seconds — Apply a five-second delay.
8 seconds — Apply an eight-second delay.
10 seconds — Apply a ten-second delay.
15 seconds — Apply a fifteen-second delay.
30 seconds — Apply a thirty-second delay.

5Calibrate the outputAdjust the graphics inside the preview while keeping the browser source at 1920 by 1080.
Output calibration presets
Start from a preset and check the edges in the broadcast software.
Broadcast safe — Use full width and height with centered placement.
Fit / overscan — Use 90 percent width and height with centered placement.
Edge aligned — Use full width and height with a downward offset of 72 pixels.
Reset safe — Return the calibration to the Broadcast safe layout.
Width
Move Width between 70 and 120 percent in one-percent steps. The browser-source canvas size stays the same. Drag the slider, or use the arrow keys with a connected keyboard. Home and End move to its limits.
Height
Move Height between 70 and 120 percent in one-percent steps. Check that the chosen graphic remains visible. Drag the slider, or use the arrow keys with a connected keyboard. Home and End move to its limits.
Horizontal position
Move the graphic left or right from minus 240 to plus 240 pixels in four-pixel steps. Drag the slider, or use the arrow keys with a connected keyboard. Home and End move to its limits.
Vertical position
Move the graphic vertically from minus 160 to plus 160 pixels in four-pixel steps. Drag the slider, or use the arrow keys with a connected keyboard. Home and End move to its limits.
Apply calibration now
The preview responds immediately. For an enabled match override, Apply calibration now publishes the correction once. Enable the overlay first if this action is unavailable. For tournament defaults, use Save tournament defaults.
After this step
The preview reflects each width, height and position adjustment before the settings are published.
6Enable and copy the protected sourceEnable overlay issues a protected browser-source URL that is shown only in the current control session.
Enable overlay or Renew with new URL
Enable overlay creates the first source. Renew with new URL issues a replacement for an existing disabled source. Wait for success and check the displayed expiry. Each new URL lasts 72 hours from issue.
Copy the source once
Copy the protected URL into your own broadcast software while it is visible. Treat it like a password and keep it out of tutorials, screenshots and messages. An existing URL cannot be displayed again after it is no longer held in this control session.
Copy manually
If clipboard access is blocked, the field is selected for manual copying. Copy it privately. If the URL is lost, rotate or renew it rather than searching logs or sharing account credentials.
OBS / vMix setup
Add a Browser source, paste the protected URL and set width to 1920 and height to 1080. No custom CSS is required. Verify the live output before using it in the program scene.
After this step
The protected source is enabled and the saved calibration remains visible after reopening its controls.
7Renew, disable and recover the sourceCheck expiry and delivery state before going on air and after every source change.
Rotate & renew URL
Read the confirmation before rotating. The current URL stops working immediately and its replacement lasts 72 hours. Copy the new URL into every active scene. Rotate immediately if the old URL was shared accidentally.
Disable browser source
Read the confirmation and choose Disable source to revoke the current URL and remove the on-air graphic. Scores and match data are preserved. Cancel leaves the source active.
Expiry and delivery state
Check On air ready or Disabled and Delivery Enabled or Preview only. A preview by itself does not prove the source is active. Renew an expired or disabled source and replace the URL in the broadcast software.
Failed or conflicting edits
Keep the draft while an edit is pending and wait for the result. If another window changed the saved presentation, review the current state before retrying. Use Retry live update for a failed Base graphic update. Reopen through assignments if control access is lost.
