1Open the football match controlsCheck the sport, teams and source state before selecting a graphic.
Assigned match
Open broadcaster assignments and choose the correct match. Verify that the selected match is football before opening broadcast controls. Wait for the connection check to finish.
Live or sample preview
Live program preview uses actual saved match information. Sample graphic preview uses local demonstration data. Check the preview label so a sample score is never mistaken for the real match.
Open preview
Use Open preview to view the current preview in a separate tab. While a sample is selected, Open live preview opens the real live view. Return to live preview clears the local sample without undoing the selected Base graphic.
After this step
You understand open the football match controls and when to use the available controls.
2Understand what a selection publishesSelecting a sample also selects its matching Base graphic. An enabled source publishes that graphic using the real score.
Sample data and real output
Use sample cards to inspect the layout. Their demonstration scores stay local. The matching Base graphic is applied immediately to an enabled source with actual confirmed match data, so choosing a sample can still change what viewers see.
Disabled source
With the source disabled, the selection changes the draft used when you enable it. Preview only does not put the graphic on air. Use the presentation guide to enable the source safely.
Base graphic
Use Automatic from live scoring to follow confirmed events. Choosing a specific graphic forces it until you choose Automatic or another option. The selector offers the sport's sample graphic types plus Hide graphics.
Hide graphics
Choose Hide graphics to clear the on-air graphics through the Base graphic selection. This does not revoke the source URL. Use Disable browser source in presentation controls when the URL itself should stop working.
After this step
You understand understand what a selection publishes and when to use the available controls.
3Choose football graphicsUse the graphic that matches the confirmed match state and check the live preview after changing it.

After this step

4Choose automatic eventsOpen Automatic graphics and keep the scoring events that should trigger an on-air effect.
Automatic graphics
Enable the football events needed for this broadcast. A real effect needs a matching confirmed event.
Goal — Enable goal when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Yellow card — Enable yellow card when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Red card — Enable red card when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Substitution — Enable substitution when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Period break — Enable period break when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Final result — Enable final result when this confirmed event should trigger an automatic graphic.
Select all and the last option
Select all restores every supported automatic event. At least one option must remain enabled. Set Base graphic to Automatic from live scoring for automatic event selection.
Timing and delay
Choose default or custom effect duration and a graphics delay in Timing and calibration, then save the other presentation changes. The presentation guide lists every duration and delay choice.
After this step
You understand choose automatic events and when to use the available controls.
5Handle missing events and standingsA sample can show a layout even when the live match has no corresponding confirmed event.
No matching confirmed event
A forced event graphic uses the latest matching confirmed event. If that event is unavailable, the ticker remains instead of inventing a score or incident. Ask the scorer to review missing match data through the scoring workflow.
Unavailable standings
Standings depends on an available authoritative tournament table. Wait while availability is being checked. If the choice is disabled or cannot be retained, choose another graphic. A standalone match or unavailable table does not create standings.
Lineups and statistics
Lineups, player figures, summaries and result graphics come from saved match data. The producer chooses the graphic type and presentation. Correct player, score or result data through the authorized scoring or roster workflow.
After this step
You understand handle missing events and standings and when to use the available controls.
6Recover a live graphic updateCheck saved-state feedback and return to the real preview before continuing the broadcast.
Applying the graphic
Wait while Applying is shown. Confirm the chosen Base graphic and live output after success. A local preview update alone is not proof that the source accepted the change.
Retry live update
If a live update fails, use Retry live update after connectivity recovers. If another control window changed the presentation, review the current saved state before retrying the selection.
Lost control connection
Close another active control tab for this match and choose Try again if the connection is in use. If assignment changed, return to assignments. Use the presentation guide for expired, lost or disabled source URLs.
After this step
You understand recover a live graphic update and when to use the available controls.
