1Choose when to add the rosterChoose Add now to enter teams or Add later to create the tournament without a new roster.
Add now
Enter teams and players before creation or while eligible tournament settings can still be edited.
Add later
Defer new roster entry and return to Edit Tournament before fixtures are created. Existing persisted teams and players are preserved. Switching back to Add now retains the unsaved draft.
After this step
Choose Add now to enter teams or Add later to create the tournament without a new roster.
2Use the current workbook templateOpen View template or Download template and keep one sheet for each team.
Workbook layout
Keep player headers on row 8. Instructions, Examples and Lists sheets are ignored. Keep the supported workbook format and correct the reported sheet or row errors before trying again.
Import limits
Use the file, team and player limits enforced by the editor. Practice has its own displayed roster allowance. A rejected file does not save partial database changes.
Import choice
Review the workbook summary before applying it to your draft.
Add missing entries — Keep the current roster and add teams or players that are not already present.
Replace draft roster — Make the draft match the team sheets. Database changes wait for final save.
After this step
Open View template or Download template and keep one sheet for each team.
3Review teams and playersSearch and browse the roster, then use Add team or Add player to fill the intended teams.
Team navigation
Use the team search, clear search and previous or next team page controls. Select the correct team before editing its players.
Team fields
Enter Team name and use Optional owner and budget details for Owner name, Budget and Max bid when needed.
Player navigation
Search players in the selected team and use player pagination. Edit optional player details before the final roster review.
Removing entries
Check that a removal is intended. Final save is subject to persisted roster and assigned-player safeguards.
After this step
Search and browse the roster, then use Add team or Add player to fill the intended teams.
4Link the correct playerSearch an existing player before entering a new roster player.
Existing account search
Use at least three characters of the registered name or the full registered mobile or email. Name matches require private contact confirmation.
Private confirmation
Hand the device to the player to enter the last four registered mobile digits or their full registered email. The email is checked securely and is not displayed.
Selected account
The selected account supplies its account identity. Use Search again to change the selection rather than replacing verified contact details.
New or roster-only player
Enter the player's name and optional contacts. Leave contacts blank for a roster-only player. A player without a verified account remains a roster entry until the phone or email is verified.
After this step
Search an existing player before entering a new roster player.
5Review optional roster detailsAdd accurate player details and leave information blank when it is not required.
Personal and contact details
Review Player name, optional Email, separate Country and Phone, optional Date of birth and the calculated Age, and Address.
Kit and availability
Review Name on T-shirt, No. on T-shirt, optional T-shirt size and unavailable dates in the accepted date format. The size field suggests S, M, L, XL and XXL. Leave it blank when no size is supplied.
Auction details
Review optional Base price and Sold price. These fields do not verify an account or bypass auction rules.
Playing category
Choose Playing category for cricket or Position category for football. Select an available category or keep Not set when it is unknown.
After this step
Add accurate player details and leave information blank when it is not required.
6Preview accounts and save the rosterRun the account preview, resolve conflicts and review the complete roster before final save.
Account preview
Review existing, new and roster-only outcomes and exact email or phone conflicts. The preview must match the current roster and submission.
Stale selection
Changing roster rows or the creation attempt invalidates the preview. Refresh stale selections and preview again before saving.
Unchanged roster
When an existing roster is unchanged, the editor preserves account links and private details without another roster write.
Verified result
Wait for the final server save, then check the persisted teams and players from the tournament activity. An imported draft alone is not a saved roster.
After this step
Run the account preview, resolve conflicts and review the complete roster before final save.

Expected result

Prepare a manual cricket or football roster, import the workbook safely and review player account matches before saving.
