1Open the organizer scoring setupThe tournament manager chooses the scoring source. The broadcaster console uses confirmed match data.
Match center and Scoring setup
As an authorized tournament manager, open the tournament's Matches & scoring actions, then Match center and the Scoring setup tab. These settings belong to the organizer workflow and apply to cricket and football.
Broadcaster permissions
A broadcaster assignment permits presentation controls. It does not grant permission to edit scoring-source settings or score the match. Coordinate the source with the tournament manager before preparing the live broadcast.
Completed tournament
When the tournament is complete, scoring-source editing is closed. Eligible assigned scorers can request a correction from a completed match instead of changing the tournament source.
Unavailable saved settings
If Scoring setup cannot load saved settings, retry after the error clears. Do not assume the default display means the saved source is missing or submit replacement settings blindly.
After this step
You understand open the organizer scoring setup and when to use the available controls.
2Choose where matches are scoredSelect the real application or scorecard used to record the match.
Scoring source
Choose the source that matches the match-day workflow, then continue to Result delivery.
Sports Fantasy scorer — Use the app's native scoring workflow with local device protection and later synchronization.
Scorecard import — Bring in a completed scorecard and verify it in Sports Fantasy.
Club scorecard import — Bring in a completed club scorecard and verify it in Sports Fantasy.
Another scoring app — Record the application name and choose how its results will be transferred.
Paper / manual scorecard — Enter and verify the final scorecard manually after the match.
Change the selected source
Changing the source keeps the current delivery choice only when that method is supported by the new source. Review Result delivery again before saving.
After this step
You understand choose where matches are scored and when to use the available controls.
3Choose how results arriveOnly delivery methods supported by the selected source are offered.
Offline-first live scoring
Sports Fantasy scorer uses this method. Events are saved on the scoring device before synchronization. The broadcast depends on confirmed synchronized data, so an offline device can be ahead of the live graphics.
Manual scorecard entry
Paper / manual scorecard uses this method. External sources can also use it. Enter the completed scorecard and review it before publishing the confirmed result.
Scorecard file import
External sources can use a supported export file. Review differences and confirm the import through the supported import workflow. Selecting this method alone does not upload or import a file.
Connected API sync
Use this external-source option only after official API access and credentials have been configured through the supported integration process. Saving this choice alone does not connect a provider or guarantee live score updates. Keep credentials out of notes and public URLs.
After this step
You understand choose how results arrive and when to use the available controls.
4Add the source detailsProvide only the information needed to identify and review the source.
Scoring application name
Another scoring app requires its name, up to 80 characters. Other sources do not need this field.
Original tournament or club URL
For external sources, optionally enter the complete public source URL using HTTP or HTTPS, up to 500 characters. Leave it empty if there is no suitable public page. Do not enter the protected broadcast source URL or a credential-bearing link.
Organizer notes
For external sources, optionally describe the export format, verification steps or match-day process in up to 300 characters. Keep passwords, tokens and private source links out of these notes.
Correct invalid details
If the application name is missing or the source URL is incomplete, correct the highlighted field before continuing. You can clear an optional URL instead of inventing one.
After this step
You understand add the source details and when to use the available controls.
5Review and save the tournament defaultUse the guided steps to confirm the source, delivery and continuity plan before saving.
Back and visited steps
Use Back or a previously visited step to review choices. Next validates the current step before advancing. Review the delivery method after changing the source.
Match continuity
For native scoring, reconnect to synchronize device events and let the organizer review conflicts. For external or paper scoring, keep the original scorecard until its result is reviewed and confirmed in Sports Fantasy.
Save scoring setup
At Review & save, choose Save scoring setup and wait for saving to finish. Recheck the saved tournament default after returning to Match center. Failed saves require checking feedback and the actual saved settings before retrying.
Tournament default scope
This form saves a tournament default. Match-specific scoring-source overrides are described as a future capability in the form and are not an available control here.
Confirm the broadcast data
Open the live broadcast preview after the source's results are confirmed in Sports Fantasy. A source name or delivery selection does not itself update the score, enable a source URL or start a live stream.
After this step
You understand review and save the tournament default and when to use the available controls.

Expected result

You can follow the written guide to choose the correct controls and recover from the documented states.
