1Illustrative guideNotifications for cricket and football explained with diagrams.
Where to begin
Sign in to your own account and open a scheduled or live match from an available scorecard or match action. Access and match eligibility are checked by the app.
Notifications
Choose Notifications for cricket or football. Completed or unavailable matches may not offer a new follow option.
About the illustrations
Use the diagrams to follow the score options. Check the messages shown in the app on your device.
After this step
Recognize the notification option for either sport and the limits of this guide.
2Read before continuingCancel leaves the choice unchanged. Continue proceeds.
Cancel
Close the explanation when you do not want to continue. This action does not activate a pass or select a score update mode.
Continue
Proceed with the existing access and device checks. The next screen depends on your current pass, prices and notification readiness.
After this step
Choose whether to continue after reading how notifications work.
3One shared passOne pass covers Notifications, In App Ticker and Floating Ticker.
Match pass
Covers the selected match while that access is valid and the match remains eligible.
Monthly and yearly passes
Cover eligible matches for the selected duration. The same pass supports notifications, In App Ticker and Floating Ticker.
Current terms
Read the price and availability shown for each plan. A pass does not remove device requirements or the current match limit.
After this step
Compare the scope of the available live score passes.
4Check current accessFree activation depends on the current plan choices.
Existing access or all plans free
The app rechecks access. If all three plans are free and no earlier request needs attention, Continue can activate a free match pass. A changed price cannot silently authorize a payment.
Mixed prices
Plan selection still appears when some plans have a price, even if another plan is free. A selected free plan uses Activate free pass. Unavailable plans cannot be selected.
Paid access
Continue to payment opens a separate paid flow. Review that choice before proceeding and wait for the app to confirm that your pass is ready.
After this step
Distinguish existing access, automatic free activation and plan selection.
5Prepare this deviceEnable notifications and allow supported device permission.
Enable notifications
Use Enable notifications when the app asks you to prepare this device. Complete the actual browser or device permission prompt if it is offered.
Readiness matters
The current account, device permission and notification registration must be ready. Permission alone does not prove that setup finished.
Blocked or unsupported
Read the actual message and check the browser or device settings it calls for. Do not assume another device is ready because you enabled this one.
After this step
Check notification readiness on the device you intend to use.
6Check Notifications onWait for Notifications on and check this device is ready.
Automatic continuation
The normal Continue path can save following once access and device readiness are confirmed. Do not look for an extra Follow button when the app is already checking or saving.
An explicit turn on action
When offered in the pass dialog, choose Turn on notifications. The same label is used for cricket and football.
Notifications on
Wait until checking and saving finish. Notifications on identifies the saved follow choice. Confirm this device is ready as well.
After this step
Recognize when following has been saved without assuming a notification arrived.
7Delivery can varyBrowser and device rules affect notification arrival.
After closing the app
Notifications can be delivered after the app closes when the device is ready. Browser and operating system behavior can delay or prevent delivery.
When an update is missing
Check the actual readiness message, permissions and connection. A saved follow preference or a valid pass alone does not guarantee an arrival time.
Read the score details
Notifications can include the score and available match details. Your browser or operating system may wrap or shorten the message. Open the scorecard when you need more context.
After this step
Set realistic expectations for notifications when the app is closed.
8One option per matchSwitching to a ticker stops notifications for that match.
Switching
Use one live score option per account and match at a time. Selecting In App Ticker or Floating Ticker replaces notifications for that match while the pass remains available.
More than one tab
The current choice is shared for the account and match. A change elsewhere can replace the option in this tab.
After this step
Understand what changes when selecting a different score option.
9When notifications pauseRead Notifications paused and check access and match eligibility.
Expired access
When the app says your follow preference is saved, renewed access can resume notifications for eligible matches. Device readiness is still required.
Ended or unavailable
Read the actual reason for the paused state. Notifications stop for an ended match. A new pass cannot make an unavailable match eligible.
After this step
Distinguish expired access from a match that has ended or become unavailable.
10Stop when neededStop following leaves the remaining pass available.
Stop following
Open Notifications on or Notifications paused. The control is named Manage notifications or Manage paused notifications. Choose Stop following, wait for saving and check the resulting state.
Remaining access
Stopping a match does not cancel the remaining pass duration. It also does not disable notification permission for every other app or match.
After this step
Know how to stop this match without confusing that action with cancelling a pass.
11Limits and match endFollow the current limit. Updates stop when the match ends.
Current limit
If the app asks you to stop following a match before adding another, choose an existing match to stop. The limit can change with current settings.
Match end
Notifications stop when the match ends. Recheck access and this device when choosing another eligible cricket or football match.
After this step
Respond to the current match limit and recognize automatic stopping at match end.
