How to update your profile and photo

Update personal profile details and adjust a safe synthetic profile photo without changing verified contact details.

1Open personal detailsOpen Edit profile from the Player dashboard, then choose Personal details.
Profile sections
Choose the section that matches the information you want to manage.
Personal details: Edit the full name, date of birth, bio, and profile photo shown for this account.
Email & mobile: Starts separate verified contact-change flows. These security-sensitive flows are not part of this tutorial.
Saved account data
The form loads the current persisted profile. Saving personal details does not change the login contact or account role.
After this step
The personal details form and profile-photo card are visible.
2Edit name, birth date, and bioEnter accurate personal details and keep the bio short.
Full name
Required. Use the name that should identify the account across its own workspace and allowed player displays.
Date of birth
Optional unless a workflow needs age eligibility. Future dates are rejected, and the date is handled as profile data rather than a login credential.
Bio
Optional. Add a short introduction such as a playing role or sports interest, with a maximum of 240 characters.
After this step
The synthetic name, birth date, and bio are ready to save.
3Save personal detailsSave and wait for the confirmed profile result.
Save Profile
Validates and saves the full name, date of birth, and bio together, then reloads the profile with a success result.
What is not changed
This save does not update the verified email, verified mobile number, password, account role, or profile photo.
After this step
The Profile saved confirmation is visible on the refreshed profile page.
4Open the photo editorOpen the current synthetic photo and enter Edit photo mode.
Photo source
The tutorial edits a preloaded synthetic image. For a real profile, choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP file under 5 MB.
Photo controls
Choose how to proceed after opening the preview.
Edit photo: Keeps the current image as the editor source and opens crop, zoom, position, and rotate controls.
Choose Photo: Selects a different supported file; choosing a file does not save it until Save Photo is selected.
Close photo preview: Closes the preview without saving an editor change.
After this step
The circular crop preview and photo-editing controls are visible.
5Adjust crop, zoom, and positionUse the circular preview to frame the synthetic subject clearly.
Circular crop
Only the image inside the circular frame becomes the saved profile photo; check the full edge before saving.
Framing controls
Each slider changes one part of the crop while keeping the original upload unsaved until the final action.
Zoom: Ranges from 1x to 3x. Increase it to fill the frame, but avoid cutting off the important subject.
Horizontal position: Moves the image left or right inside the fixed circular crop.
Vertical position: Moves the image up or down inside the fixed circular crop.
After this step
The synthetic photo is zoomed and the two position controls are reviewed.
6Rotate the photoRotate in ninety-degree steps when the image orientation needs correction.
Rotate
Rotation is applied around the centre of the crop preview in 90-degree steps.
Left: Turns the image 90 degrees anticlockwise.
Right: Turns the image 90 degrees clockwise; this is the demonstration choice.
Review after rotation
Rotation can change which edges enter the crop, so recheck zoom and both positions before saving.
After this step
The synthetic image is rotated once in the crop preview.
7Save the edited photoSave only after the crop, zoom, position, and rotation look correct.
Finish editing
Choose whether to persist or discard the current editor state.
Save Photo: Creates the edited square image, saves it for this account, refreshes profile consumers, and then closes the editor.
Cancel edit: Resets the unsaved image selection, zoom, position, and rotation while keeping the previously saved profile photo.
Privacy
The saved account photo remains private player media unless a separate server-approved public projection allows a photo to be shown.
After this step
The photo editor closes and the saved profile-photo trigger is visible again.

Expected result

Personal details and the edited synthetic profile photo are saved for the tutorial player account.
