Save and resume tournament drafts

Keep tournament details and protected payment progress safe, resume a saved draft and recover an interrupted creation.

1Save your work before closingChoose Save draft and close when you want to finish tournament creation later.
Save draft and close
The draft keeps your tournament details and payment progress so you can resume from the organizer dashboard. Wait for saving to finish before leaving.
Draft and Published
A saved creation draft is unfinished work. The Draft or Published tournament setting describes the tournament you will create and does not replace saving the unfinished form.
After this step
Choose Save draft and close when you want to finish tournament creation later.
2Find the saved tournamentUse the organizer dashboard search, sport and setup filters to find the draft you want.
Saved drafts
Saved draft cards show the tournament name and sport. Choose Resume draft on the intended card.
Browse drafts
Use Previous drafts and Next drafts when more saved drafts are available. Changing search, sport or setup filters starts at the first page.
Loading and failed loading
Wait while the draft list loads. If saved drafts could not be loaded, refresh and try again. A missing list is not evidence that your draft was deleted.
After this step
Use the organizer dashboard search, sport and setup filters to find the draft you want.
3Review the restored detailsResume the saved form and review its fields, uploaded files and current validation before continuing.
Resume draft
The draft reopens in the creation dialog or mobile sheet. Check dates and required fields before submitting.
Player account preview
If roster details or a creation attempt have changed, preview existing and new accounts again. Resolve stale selected accounts before final creation.
Failed restoration
Use the offered recovery retry or keep the draft saved and contact support when the exact saved submission cannot be restored safely.
After this step
Resume the saved form and review its fields, uploaded files and current validation before continuing.
4Continue a protected paymentUse the existing payment progress instead of starting a second payment for the same saved submission.
Payment-bound details
Once an attempt is bound to payment, its exact submitted details can be locked. Resume the retained payment and wait for the verified result.
Captured or uncertain payment
Keep the draft saved while payment is reconciled. Do not change the submission or start another payment while its outcome is uncertain.
After this step
Use the existing payment progress instead of starting a second payment for the same saved submission.
5Edit an eligible unpaid submissionChoose Release unpaid payment and edit only when that recovery action is offered.
Release and edit
Read the confirmation, then allow the server to check whether the payment can safely be released. Tournament details and files are kept while a replacement submission is prepared.
Allowed and blocked release
A safely unpaid attempt can be released. A captured or uncertain payment needs reconciliation first. If release cannot be verified, keep the draft saved and contact support.
Fresh preview
A safe release starts a new submission. Refresh the player account preview when manual roster setup is involved.
After this step
Choose Release unpaid payment and edit only when that recovery action is offered.
6Verify the completed tournamentReview the restored form, finish the required payment when applicable and wait for successful creation.
Verified success
The organizer activity refreshes after the tournament is created. Check the created tournament and its sport before managing registrations, teams or fixtures.
Return context
The creation dialog closes back to the activity that opened it. Continue from the new tournament rather than submitting the saved draft again.
After this step
Review the restored form, finish the required payment when applicable and wait for successful creation.
