How to draw auction team owners

Build a verified owner and team-name pool, run a draw into fixed team slots, and save the accepted assignments.

1Open the owner drawSave and verify both team slots before opening Assign owners by draw.
Prepare the saved teams
Use the same workflow for cricket and football.
Saved team slots — Create and save at least two teams before opening the draw. Name each team, select a verified owner and check its wallet and maximum bid. Wait for Save all teams to succeed, then reopen Auction settings and verify the saved names, owners and purses. The draw supports up to twenty teams and team details must still be editable.
Assign owners by draw — Open the draw from the team editor. The Draw teams for owners window lists the fixed team slots and the owner pool.
Phone and desktop — On a phone, close the current team detail sheet before selecting the next team. After the teams are saved, use the same draw pool fields in the responsive dialog or mobile sheet. The shuffle can open a full-screen presentation, then return to the assignment summary.
After this step
Both team slots are saved with verified owners and valid purses before the owner draw opens.
2Complete the owner and name poolReview the saved owner and team-name pairs and use Change to verify each owner again.
One pair per entry
The owner and their desired team name move together into a fixed team slot.
Verified owner — Use an existing verified owner. Select Change to search again and choose the correct verified account. If an owner still needs new-account WhatsApp verification, finish it in the team editor before opening the draw. Finish any open search or verification before shuffling.
Desired team name — Enter the name that should travel with that owner. Keep it within one hundred characters.
Unique entries — Every entry needs a verified owner and a desired name. Use each owner once and give each entry a different team name.
Fixed slot identity — Team 1, Team 2, and the other saved slots stay fixed. The draw assigns owner and name pairs to those slots. It does not create a second set of teams.
Saved team list changed — If team slots were added, removed, or changed elsewhere, close and reopen the draw and run it again against the current saved teams.
After this step
Both saved entries are reverified and ready for a draw into the existing team slots.
3Preview or run the drawA preview is available for incomplete entries, but only a valid draw can be applied.
Draw controls
Check the pool before starting.
Preview shuffle — With an incomplete pool, choose Preview shuffle or Preview again to see the presentation. It does not create team assignments. Complete unique owners and names, then shuffle again.
Shuffle — With a complete valid pool, choose Shuffle. Wait through gathering, shuffling, and checking before reviewing the results. Secure random selection must be available.
Sound — Use the sound control to turn the draw sound on or off. It changes the presentation rather than the saved owner assignments.
Reduced motion — When reduced motion is enabled, results can appear without the full animation. The validity and save requirements remain the same.
Shuffle again — Review which owner and desired name landed in each fixed slot. Choose Shuffle again if you want another result before accepting.
Invalid or expired verification — If verification is no longer valid or an owner appears twice, correct the indicated entries and verify them again. Do not accept the previous invalid result.
After this step
A preview is available for incomplete entries, but only a valid draw can be applied.
4Check that the private draw draft is savedThe draw saves its working pool and revealed result separately from the tournament's team assignments.
Draft persistence
Read the save indicator before leaving.
Saving shortly and Saving — Wait while pending owner or name changes are saved. Closing can wait for this save to finish.
Draw changes saved — The private draft can restore the owner and name pool and its revealed result when you reopen the draw. It has not yet assigned owners to the tournament's saved teams.
Draw changes were not saved — Use Retry and wait for a saved result. Do not assume a failed draft save will survive closing or reopening.
Saved team assignments — A restored summary can show the assignments already accepted and saved. To change them, edit the pool if needed and run another draw.
After this step
The draw saves its working pool and revealed result separately from the tournament's team assignments.
5Apply the accepted assignmentsChoose whether to review the assignments in the editor or save all teams immediately.
Accept the draw
Review every fixed slot, owner, and team name before choosing.
Use assignments — Apply the result to the team editor draft. Review the teams and choose Save all teams there to persist them.
Use & Save All Teams — Apply the result and submit all teams together. This saves other team edits in the editor too, so review those before using it.
Wait for validation — Both routes recheck owners and team slots. Keep the window open while validation or saving is pending.
Successful saved result — Confirm the saved team names and owner assignments in the refreshed editor or team list. A draw animation or a private draft save alone does not establish that result.
Save failed or teams changed — Keep or recover the draft, fix the stated issue, and retry. If the saved team list changed, reopen the draw using the current teams and shuffle again.
After this step
Choose whether to review the assignments in the editor or save all teams immediately.
