How to build a Cricket Fantasy team

Create a tournament-wide Cricket Fantasy team with the exact team size, real-team balance, captain, and vice-captain.

1Open the tournament team builderOpen Fantasy dashboard, choose Tournament teams, and select the Cricket tournament.

Open it from the account and workspace menu on any authenticated player page.
Tournament teams
This tab lists tournaments that currently allow this player to create a tournament-wide Fantasy team.
Create tournament team
Choose the Cricket tournament card. This creates a team whose points can accumulate across that tournament's matches.
New-team allowance
The builder opens only while Fantasy is enabled, the tournament is not locked, and the player's saved-team count is below the organizer's limit.
After this step
The selected Cricket tournament opens with a new team builder.
2Review the team and selection limitsReview the default team name, exact team size, and real-team cap before selecting players.
Fantasy team name
A valid default is provided. You may keep it or enter another name from 2 to 60 characters; it identifies this saved combination when switching teams or entering a contest.
Tournament team
This route creates a team not tied to one match; its eligible roster comes from the sold tournament players and its points can span tournament fixtures.
Team size
Exactly four players are required in this seeded tutorial. The organizer's saved setting controls this number.
Real-team limit
At most two selected players may come from one real tournament team, preventing a one-sided combination.
Existing team allowance
New team is available only while the player is below the organizer's tournament limit. Saved teams remain viewable and editable before the lock.
After this step
The team has a valid default name and the player understands both selection limits.
3Select a valid cricket squadPick four eligible players within the two-per-team cap; positions and categories do not restrict selection.
Category-neutral selection
Any eligible sold tournament player may be selected. Auction categories and sporting positions do not create required slots or selection filters.
Plus and minus
Plus selects an eligible player. The same control becomes minus and removes that player; removing a leader later also clears that leadership choice.
Blocked selection
A disabled plus means the exact team size is already filled or selecting that player would exceed the real-team cap.
Real-team balance
The chosen four use two Tutorial Falcons and two Tutorial Strikers, exactly meeting the maximum of two from either side.
Mobile nested scroll
Scroll inside the bounded player list to reach more names. The bottom Next action remains sticky, and the outer document scroll stays separate.
After this step
Four category-neutral picks form a valid, balanced cricket squad.
4Choose captain and vice-captainAssign different selected players as captain and vice-captain, then review the team.
Captain
Required. The captain receives the saved captain multiplier, currently 2×, for applicable match points.
Vice-captain
Required and must be different. The vice-captain receives the saved 1.5× multiplier.
Changing a leader
Select C or VC beside another chosen player. Assigning one player to the other leadership role clears their previous role so the two remain different.
Review before save
Confirm the displayed team name, exactly four selected players, balanced real-team mix, and both leader summary cards.
Mobile leader list
The selected-player leader list has its own vertical scroll. The Create Fantasy team button stays on the separate sticky action rail below it.
After this step
The valid cricket squad has different captain and vice-captain selections.
5Save the Cricket Fantasy teamCreate the team and confirm it appears in the tournament team switcher.
Create Fantasy team
Submits the name, selected player IDs and two leader IDs as one validated team.
Server validation
The server rechecks eligibility, enabled status, team allowance, exact size, real-team cap and different leaders without requiring positions or categories.
Team switcher
The saved team appears with its points. The horizontal list scrolls independently on narrow screens when several teams exist.
Edit and lock
A saved team can be edited while Fantasy remains enabled and before the relevant lock; its current lineup stays viewable afterward.
After this step
My Cricket Fantasy Team is persisted and visible as the selected tournament Fantasy lineup.

Expected result

A valid tournament Cricket Fantasy team is saved and shown with its captain and vice-captain.
